2025 Elevator Industry Field Employees’ Safety Handbook – Canada Edition

This Handbook is designed as a resource for safety information and written processes that elevator industry field employees shall use to help prevent injuries and illnesses resulting from unsafe acts and conditions found in the elevator industry. This Handbook promotes elevator industry jobsite safety through adherence to standard work practices, the elevator industry's nine (9) Safety Absolutes, and applicable laws and regulations. This Handbook is intended to augment a company's safety program (policy) and is NOT intended to be used as a complete company safety program. The Handbook will allow users to better understand the safety processes (steps) to be taken that will allow safety work practices to be implemented and executed in the field daily.
